While looking for some house pictures on our camera, I came across these 2 pictures . I thought I would share the joy.

After dinnertime, we try to read an excerpt from a devotional book by Max Lucado. It is definitely written for adults, and then we break it down a bit for Max. What we explained to Max tonight from the book, was how certain people can be doctors, astronauts, firemen, whatever – and their whole life is their job. Their whole focus is the work they do, and they do not take time to seek God, to love God. Then he said, “I’m thinkin I want to be a pastor when I grow up, of a church, about Jesus.” (wow) So, we’ll start praying now that if it is His will, this little seed will grow in our young man!
I didn’t really want to bump the Members Only commercial from the top slot so soon, but we had a great time with the Kitt family on Independence Day 2007. Please, go view the Members Only commercial. It gets better with repeat viewings.
Lucy and I were riding in the car, and a Jars of Clay song was playing on CD. In the middle of the song, she says, “Mom, what’s Ha-lay-ooh-yah?” I realized that the word Hallelujah was sung over and over again in the chorus. I was so startled that she asked about that – at just barely 3! I told her it means ‘Praise God!’ She said, “that’s cool!”. Yes it is. 🙂
it makes my toes feel shiny!” Lucy Theule
