Artios Academy is the Music/Arts/History program that the kids attend 1 morning per week.  Today was their first day.  This is the second year Max has attended, and Lucy’s first year.

He is not so happy after the haircut, but Mom and Dad think he looks pretty good.

Max received a Flip video camera for his birthday last month.  He has been filling up the camera with short little films.  One fun thing about this camera is that it comes with some very simple video editing software.  Last night, I finally had some time to show Max how to use the software.  The below is what we came up with together while learning the software.

This camera takes good quality movies (unlike some other cameras we have) so the full screen quality is pretty good, if you’d like.  But just to warn you, the kids move the camera really fast, so you might get dizzy in some spots.

Her eardrums are pretty sensitive, we’ve noticed, with her new brother’s pterodactyl-like screams.  During one particularly ear-piercing bout of Roly’s hunger screeches, Lucy exclaimed, "Why can’t he use some self-control?!"
